Augusta museum to hold book signing Saturday

The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History will hold a book signing for Charles E. Smith II, the author of He that Findeth a Wife: A Christian Guide to Finding the Helpmate God Has for You, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Admission is $2. Smith is the president and CEO of Christian Love Books. The museum is at 1116 Phillips St. Call (706) 724-3576 for more information.

Who ever heard of a cover

Who ever heard of a cover charge for a book signing? They sell books about which they give the audience an insight to. I suppose the $2 cover charge is like the poll tax of old, gotta keep the riff raff out. Think about it.
