Pick’n and Praise’n

Mountain dulcimer player Nathaniel Samsel, of Clarkesville, Ga., will play today at Glenn Hills Baptist Church’s monthly Pick’n and Praise’n event.

Pick’n and Praise’n, a monthly live music event in Augusta, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Glenn Hills Baptist Church, 2877 Lumpkin Road.

Nathaniel Samsel, a mountain dulcimer player from Clarkesville, Ga., will be the featured artist. The event is free and open to the public. A meal will be served. Call (706) 373-7855.

The Time Line

South Boundary and The Columbia County Civic Orchestra present The Time Line, a program of music through the ages, at First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield St., Aiken.

Marriage seminar

Angel Davis, a Chris­tian psychotherapist, will lead a seminar on Weathering the Storms of Marriage from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Mosaic United Methodist Church, 478 Columbia Industrial Blvd., Evans. Dinner will be served.
