Book signing

The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History will hold a book signing for Charles E. Smith II, author of He that Findeth a Wife: A Christian Guide to Finding the Helpmate God Has for You, at 6:30 p.m. April 28.

Day of worship

The Sista-2-Sista Ministry of Strong Tower Christian Fellowship presents an all-day worship experience for women ages 13 and older starting at 10 a.m. April 28.

The event at 2805 Wylds Road, includes lunch, praise and worship, intercessory prayer, teaching and preaching on the theme Beyond the Veil. The cost is $20 per person.

The Rev. Tony Campolo, a renowned preacher, educator and author, will preach at Wesley United Methodist Church at the 8:30, 9:30, and 11 a.m. services April 29.
