ABOUT THE CONCERT: Shannon Jeffreys, the choral director at Georgia Southern University, will be featured as soprano soloist at the concert, performed by a choir of 35 and an orchestra of six.
QUOTE: “Requiem is a funeral mass, so there’s a Lenten feel to it on the Friday before Palm Sunday,” said Choral Society Artistic Director Timothy Powell. “The music itself is very accessible. It’s very singable.”
COST: $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, students, active-duty military and groups of 10 or more.
