LGBT activist to speak

Author and gay-rights activist Marc Adams will speak on the topic Bending the Arc during the Sunday worship service of Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta at 11 a.m. Jan. 8.

Adams, the son of a Baptist minister, has written nine books, including The Preacher‘s Son, Do’s & Don’ts of Dealing with the Religious Right, and It’s Not About You: Understanding Coming Out & Self Acceptance.
