Sept. 11 service
A service of remembrance will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 3551 Wheeler Road.
The service includes hymns, prayers and Scripture readings and is held in honor of those who died Sept. 11, 2001.

Love Fest
The Laney Walker Community Love Fest will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the vacant lot on the corner of Laney-Walker Boulevard and Twiggs Street.
The event includes free food, book bags, school supplies, clothes, jackets and blankets. The event also will officer health screenings and spiritual enrichment.

Mental health help
The Coalition for Mental and Spiritual Health Ministries, the Medical College of Georgia's Department of Psychiatry and the National Alliance on Mental Illness-Augusta have organized a seminar, How Faith Communities and Mental Health Providers can Support Military Families.
The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Medical College of Georgia Health Sciences Building, Room EC1204.
The seminar is for pastors, congregational leaders, members of faith communities, mental health professionals and military families, and is open to the public. There is no charge for general attendance.
