‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules'

Release Date: March 25

Rated: PG

My thoughts: Summer is over and a boy named Greg is finally entering the seventh grade. The bad thing is Greg and his friend Rowley are "wimpy and weak" compared to other guys in their school, so their main goal for the whole school year was simply to survive.

Greg not only starts off having school issues, but also starts having a tough time at home. His mother makes matters even worse when she gives all the money in the "jar" to Manny, his younger brother. Greg also even tries every attempt to impress his crush, Holly Hills, which created even more complications.

Throughout the movie, Greg does whatever necessary to keep him out of trouble. He holds up to the best of his ability because the problems never end, and the laughing at this movie doesn't either. People of all ages can enjoy this film, so relax, sit back, and enjoy it with popcorn and family, because you probably still have it better than this guy on a bad day.

Grade: B-
