Degrassi: The Boiling Point
Release Date: July 19
Rating: TV-14
My Thoughts: Over the course of six weeks, Degrassi: The Boiling Point has been a main staple of the average teenager's life. This series is chock full of drama, which, in my opinion, attracts viewers.
This program shows the extremities of teen life, such as teen pregnancy, domestic violence, homosexuality, and more topics. In summation, I enjoy watching this show, and it captures a teen's everyday life very well with a few exceptions of course.

'The Suburbs'
Artist: Arcade Fire
Release Date: Aug. 3
My Thoughts: Quintessential indie rock group Arcade Fire has created an eclectic gem of an album that tells the story of a suburban upbringing. Catchy from the start, it was nearly impossible to not listen to the album all at once.
While keeping the typical rock instruments in their line-up, Arcade Fire supplements them with instruments normally reserved only for the symphony, with arrangements of strings and horns interspersed throughout the album, adding to its indie flair.
Reminiscent of Neil Young, U2, and David Bowie, this album has something for all who claim to be rock lovers, and might even surprise some who don't.
