Tripp Calloway makes a distinct impression as he bobs between students in the halls between classes, chatting candidly and occasionally bursting into song and dance.
Tripp is an 18-year-old senior at Augusta Preparatory Day School. His high school career promises to be just as memorable: a four-year member of the student council (he's the president now), Eagle Scout and thespian, Tripp's involvement in extracurricular activities is admirable.
He has appeared in 12 theater productions for Augusta Prep during high school. Most recently, he appeared in Bat Boy and will return to the stage for the school's coming March production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Hardly limited in the scope of his interests, he enjoys exploring theology and listening to hip-hop music. You may hear about him in the not to distant future as a candidate for the Senate where he will be campaigning on a platform of fair taxes and the conservation of our constitutional rights.
