She was seeking more space in case her aging parents ever needed to move in with her. She and her son moved into the five-bedroom, 4½-bath brick home in Walton Farms in May.

The floor plan allowed her to have spacious master suites, 1,100 square feet each, upstairs and downstairs.

The downstairs suite prevents her parents, or even Jackson when she gets older, from having to climb the stairs to reach a bedroom.

“This was the feature that sold me on the house,” Jackson said. “I also like that fact that all of the bedrooms have their own bathroom, except for one.”

When Jackson’s family gathers for Thanksgiving, everyone can get dressed simultaneously because of the numerous bathrooms.

Jackson also loves her friendly neighbors at Walton Farms.

“We look out for each other’s homes, and if we see anything out of the norm, they’ll tell me when I get in or I’ll tell them,” Jackson said.
