The couple had remodeled two homes and were ready for a new challenge.
“We get the itch,” said Brittany, an interior designer. “It’s an occupational hazard with what I do. I want to change all the time.”
The Wallaces share their 3,400-square-foot, two-story home with their dogs: Emma, a Shih Tzu, and Hunter and Stella, both beagles.
Their custom-built home backs up to woods, which Chad likes for privacy.
The home has four bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms and an upstairs theater room.
The decorating style is a mix of traditional and contemporary features as well as bright and soothing neutral colors, Brittany said.
“I love fabrics, and I love any kind of mixing patterns, texture and color,” she said.
The Wallaces agreed that the kitchen is their favorite room. The aqua tones on the wall blend with two cabinet finishes and three counter top elements: granite, copper on the wet bar and butcher block on the island.
