“What people don’t know about the house is how big it is. It looks like a small ranch when it is really a 4,000-square-foot home,” Dean said.
They agreed that they wanted everyone who came over to feel comfortable, they wanted their children’s friends to want to hang out there, and they wanted it to be a family-friendly house.
With the open kitchen, dining area and living room complete with hard wood floors and exposed wood beams, the movie room downstairs, a saltwater pool, and a waterfall in the lighted covered gazebo area that the family lovingly calls the “Cave of Wonders,” you can’t help but feel welcome, comfortable, and peaceful.
When asked about their favorite place in the house to spend time, it seems a toss-up. They love the movie room because they say it is a fun room and a place where they can all hang out together or the kids can gather with their friends. They also love their upstairs family room because it is cozy and another great area to hang out, whether it is the four of them or a whole group.
