Today's Home: Kennelworth Place

Living a life of luxury was everything Eva and Jeffery Foreman set out to do when they built their two-story home on Kennelworth Place in Augusta in 2007.

With custom built-in fixtures, raised ceilings and oak hardwood floors, the couple made sure to leave their mark on every bit of the blueprints, leaving no archway or wall untouched.

“We designed and built the house ourselves,” Eva Foreman said. “We made the three-car garage extra large. There are three separate air conditioning units. The kitchen has custom cabinets, double ovens and a farmer’s sink.”

And the features don’t stop with the garage or kitchen. The house includes several master suites, a granite-top bar for entertaining, a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace, and a “rocking chair” front porch that overlooks a fully landscaped yard.

Eva said she really loves the convenience. The brick house sits in a quiet neighborhood in west Augusta just off Boy Scout Road, which she said is minutes away from shopping and schools.

“It’s just a great home to live in, especially for a family with children,” she said. “I love it. I love living here.”
