They moved into their home at Barrett Place in Evans last February.
The two-story, four-bedroom, 2 ½-bath home was already built, and they liked its open floor plan and high, vaulted ceilings. One of their favorite features is the screened-in back porch.
“We love being able to open up the doors and be kind of be outside and inside at the same time,” Barry said.
Before moving in, the couple added a gas fireplace, which they use often, and plantation shutters. They also extended the hardwood floors into the living room, Barry said.
Barry said that his favorite room is his “man cave.” Holly’s favorite room is the kitchen, which has an island and lots of cabinet space.
“I spend most of my time in the kitchen,” she said.
Now the parents of an 8-week-old son, Liam, the Halls love their home’s fenced-in backyard. Barrett Place is also child-friendly because it is a small neighborhood that has sidewalks and doesn’t get much traffic.
“The kids can kind of play around as they grow up,” Barry said.
