The quiz was a stumper. Only two readers guessed the correct car. Other guesses included a Scion, the Nissan Altima coupe, the Honda Accord coupe and a Toyota Camry.
Chosen randomly from the correct entries was the name Wayne Wilke, of Evans, who wrote:
“The Genesis Coupe is a sporty car and quite different from the four-door sedan Genesis. The Coupe comes with either a four-cylinder 2-liter 210-horsepower engine or a V-6 3.8-liter 306-horsepower engine.
“Both engines come with a six-speed manual transmission. The automatic transmission for the four-cylinder is a five-speed, and the automatic transmission for the V-6 is a six-speed.
“The standard engine in the sedan is 3.8 liters with 333 horsepower, and it has an eight-speed automatic transmission.
“Both Genesis cars and the rest of the Hyundai line of cars have received high marks for styling, quality and value for the price.”
Wilke wins a gift from The Augusta Chronicle.
Also identifying the Genesis was another longtime contestant, Jerry Paul, also of Evans.
