Shopgirl: 3-D printing can now be dialed up easily

OLO is an idea that brings 3-D printing to your iPhone.

The original kickstarter campaign was for $80,000 and wound up raising $2.1 million – a crazy amount of money to raise up front from regular Joes.

The OLO printer works with your iPhone to print 3-D creations either from the OLO library or any other 3-D app you might download to your iPhone.

The best part about it is that this printer is only $99 – a far cry from what most other 3-D printers cost. It’s also available for Android, iPhone and Windows phones.

Of course, since the printer is only about the size of a small speaker, you’re limited in the size of pieces you can print. However, you can always assemble smaller pieces into a larger creation. Check it out at

WHAT’S TRENDY. You might remember Christian Siriano from the television show Project Runway a few years ago, but he’s managed to create an impressive career for himself as a couture and ready-to-wear designer.

Lane Bryant is jumping on the designer collab bandwagon and is working with Siriano to launch a line this summer – headlined by Orange Is The New Black star Danielle Brooks (she plays Taystee).

The collection has pieces for work, for special events, and for casual days all with a signature Siriano twist. It hits stores April 28, and the 18-piece collection ranges from $48 to $198.

WHAT’S AFFORDABLE. Waterside Yoga by the Augusta Canal is happening every Saturday this spring, and it’s a great way to get a workout in while enjoying the beautiful weather.

The workout, led by instructors from The Yoga Center, is appropriate for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.

It starts at 9 a.m. each Saturday through June 4, and is free.
