Augusta cook awarded blue ribbon

Augusta cook Pat Morris was awarded a blue ribbon for her lemon ice cream recipe by Just a Pinch Recipe Club, an online recipe sharing community.

To win the award, Morris had to submit a “full-flavored, festive dish that was both tasty and easy to prepare.”

According to Annakate Tefft, the public relations and social media manager for Just a Pinch, less than 2 percent of the 90,000 recipes posted to the Web site have received the award.
