Puritan influence to be discussed
Bill Potter of Vision Forum will give seven talks on Puritans and their influence on the church from the 17th century to the present day from Feb. 22-24 at Cliffwood Presbyterian Church of Augusta.
While some talks are designed for adult listeners, others are given with children in mind, according to organizers.

Concert series to be at Kroc Center
Musicians Isaac Holmes and Rosalyn Floyd of the Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Society will perform at The Salvation Army Kroc Center at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.
Holmes is a doctoral student at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia in Athens, while Floyd is a professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Georgia Regents University.
The society formed in 1990 in honor of Harry Jacobs, retiring director of the Augusta Symphony. Today, it has more than 200 members.
Tickets for the concert cost $20. A dessert reception will follow.

‘The Story of Noah’
tickets are on sale
Tickets for the Enopion Theatre Company’s The Story of Noah and His Great Big Gopher Boat went on sale Friday.
The live stage play adapted from the biblical story of Noah runs March 14-22 and costs $16 for adults, $11 for children ages 12 and younger, $11 for seniors or per person in groups of 10 or more.
