Carman concert in Lincolnton canceled because of weather

Gospel music artist Carman Licciardello

A gospel music concert by Carman Licciardello scheduled for Sunday, July 1, in Lincolnton, Ga., had to be canceled because of severe weather.

Ron Blackwood, of Ron Blackwood Management, wrote in an e-mail that the performance planned for 6 p.m. at First Assembly of God, 328 May Ave., was canceled because the church was without electricity.

The concert will not be rescheduled, according to the church.

Since 1982, Carman, the Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist, has released two dozen contemporary Christian music albums for adults and children.
