What is it?

Last week's What Is It? photo was of the 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible.

The first reader to identify the car was Justin Flournoy, of Augusta, who wins a coffee mug from The Augusta Chronicle.

The following readers also recognized the new retractable hardtop convertible: L. Frank Allen, of Augusta; Michael Jefferson, of Graniteville; and Wayne Wilke, of Evans.

The most-submitted incorrect guess was the Volkswagen Eos, followed by the Volvo C70, Lexus SC 430, Mercedes-Benz SL and Pontiac G6. Thanks, one and all.

Although there are plenty of retractable hardtops on the road today, there is only one vehicle that looks like this week's photo. If you think you can identify it by its headlight and grille, please send an e-mail to glynn.moore@augustachronicle.com. You also may call (706) 823-3419 during business hours.

Either way, the deadline is noon Wednesday. Please tell us how to spell your name, and include your city and your telephone number.

The names of all correct guessers will be published next Friday, and the first to correctly identify What Is It? will receive a little gift from The Chronicle as a way of saying thanks for reading.

Keep on truckin'.
