Facebook recently released a feature that allows you to record and post video messages to celebrate your friends’ birthdays.
The Birthday Cam pops up when you’re on the page of someone who is having a birthday, and acts as a kind of video birthday card to wish them a special day. You can even add birthday-themed filters, stickers and signs to add some birthday flair. This option is automatically updated to current editions of Facebook so be sure to check next time someone you love has a birthday.
WHAT’S TRENDY. Regardless of your religious affiliation, it can be very special to attend a sunrise Easter service.
The Augusta area has a wide variety of options, and with the weather that we’ve been enjoying, it’s certain to be absolutely breathtaking.
One great option is the ecumenical service in downtown Augusta at the Jessye Norman Amphitheater. This is a great Augusta Easter tradition and starts at 7 a.m.
The event is, of course, free and open to anyone, and for more information you can call (706) 821-1754.
WHAT’S AFFORDABLE. It’s easy (and pretty typical for most of us) to wind up dropping a few hundred dollars a year on swimsuits that will be all but destroyed by the end of the season.
There are so many budget options for swimsuits that keep your wallet healthy and still let you experiment with current trends and styles.
My favorite places to look for swimsuits under $50 are Target, Aerie and Old Navy. These brands manage to keep their suits fitting well, looking stylish and costing a very reasonable price. From separates to one-pieces to cover-ups, each of these merchandisers has a great selection every year and this year especially. All three of these also offer the option to return to the store any orders you made online if you need a different size or whatever other reason.
