Today's Home: Walton Farms

Dianne and Harry Greene weren’t planning to move until Dianne stumbled upon her “dream home.”

She said that she fell in love with the home as soon as she approached it from the walkway.

“When I came in the house and saw all the features, it was a must. We needed to get it, even though we had another house,” Dianne said.

The couple and their three children moved into the one-story brick home at Walton Farms subdivision in Hephzibah in October 2011. The 2,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Their previous home was nearby on Deer Chase Lane.

“I like the location, how it’s not on a busy street,” Dianne said about the Walton Farms home.

Both Dianne and Harry’s favorite room in the house is the spacious master bedroom, which was extended an additional eight feet by the builder and has enough space for a seating area. Dianne also loves the home’s great room and the hardwood floors in the common areas.

Other favorite features include the home’s ceiling fans, tray ceilings in the master bedrooms and sliding doors leading to the study and game room.

“I love the cabinets,” Dianne said about the kitchen cabinets.
