Food52 is one of my go-to cooking blogs, and it has recently released an app that encourages and helps cooks
who want to do more than just follow a recipe.
(Not)Recipes is an app that acts as a sort of community, akin to Instagram, offering cooking tips and advice from other home cooks on everything from secret ingredients to technique.
The Internet has done wonders for the average cook, and I know I find limitless inspiration from what other people are doing with seemingly ordinary ingredients.
(Not)Recipes is a free app, and you can find it in the App Store for iOS.

It all happens at Club Magnolia, one of the beautiful hospitality setups on Magnolia Drive.

WHAT’S AFFORDABLE: I love drugstore beauty products, mainly because I like having the freedom to switch things up whenever I get bored.
For the truly beauty-adventurous out there, Maybelline is releasing a lipstick line that is anything but expected. Maybelline Color Sensational Loaded Bold lipstick line has 20 shades that are far from the usual pinks, reds and nudes.
This line has everything from white to purple to navy – again, for the truly exciting makeup trends that are hard to get from anywhere besides high-end makeup lines.
The line should be released in July, and at prices in the Maybelline range it might be motivation enough for me to give something out of the ordinary a try.
