Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, in charge of security for the whole country, must be living in another country. She seems to think the Mexico border is just wonderfully safe. Really? The families of murdered U.S. marshals, Border Patrol agents and private citizens may beg to differ with her.
Homeland security? Really?
I've crossed that border dozens of times. She's not convincing me.
Now the Canadian border has been compromised. Can y'all swim.
Recently, a strange package was discovered after sitting in storage for 20 days by an "officer of protective services" in the McNamara Federal Building in Detroit -- and the package turned out to be a bomb. Right under Homeland Security's nose!
Then there's the Ronald Reagan International Airport, three miles from the Pentagon, White House, etc. An air traffic controller went to sleep while two airliners landed unassisted. And the insult is that the guy might be merely transferred or even promoted. It's the government way, right?
Hey, Secretary Napolitano, you need to come to Rocky Ford and take a cue from our police department. At least they're looking out for our homeland security.
I'm in charge of my family's homeland security. I'm locked and loaded. Any more questions?
