The Democrats won, so get over it

All I ever hear is how the liberal media mislead or even lie to the public. This was told to me by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Neal Boortz, Michael Savage, Bill O'Reilly, Newt Gingrich, Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter (this paper had to let her go) and the local Austin Rhodes. Name one liberal.

It amazes me that Rush tells his audiences that the Democrats can't think for themselves, while he is in front of his golden microphone telling his gullible listeners exactly what he wants them to think. What a fat hypocrite! It's ironic that his followers are called "dittoheads." I think that definitely rings true.

The election is over. It was a landslide! Electoral votes: Obama, 365; McCain, 173. People young and old came to the voting booths because they were unhappy with the way this country was being run. After eight years of a Republican-led administration, most voters found out that George W. Bush was in way over his head. I still can't believe he was elected, much less twice.

I constantly hear Republicans blaming everyone but themselves. Why is it now that I hear that we are spending all of our grandchildren's money? Do not forget the useless war Bush started. Think how many lives and how much money we could have saved. I feel the war has contributed to our huge recession. It had to. I am still waiting for anyone to tell me what was accomplished in Iraq! So don't start acting like these problems just came about.

Put away all the greed and blaming and let's start by working as one, instead of condemning everyone who doesn't think as you do. That is exactly why there is a Democratic president and a Democratic Congress today. Until both parties and the citizens of this great country start working together, it will remain that way for many years to come.
