Our country is in recession, our troops are stretched all over the world, illegal immigration continues, jobs are still leaving America, the administration spies on Americans, and now the Posse Comitatus law has been thrown out with the first American combat troops being deployed to U.S. soil under the direction of the president - none of which would be happening if our representatives and president had followed the rule of law of the U.S. Constitution.
The president and Congress have the lowest ratings in history. Yet it's estimated that 90 percent of Americans will re-elect their incumbent congressmen, and most Americans will vote for either a Democrat or a Republican for president.
But there are four other presidential candidates with enough state ballot access to win the Electoral College. Those candidates are:
- Chuck Baldwin, of the Constitution Party;
- Ralph Nader, an Independent;
- Cynthia McKinney, of the Green Party;
- and Bob Barr, of the Libertarian Party.
McCain and Obama are globalists. These third-party candidates want to put America first. That's real change.
Every member of the House of Representatives is up for re-election. One-third of the Senate is up for re-election. This is the time to make a clean sweep of a disastrous Congress. Join the grass-roots effort to rid the House and Senate of as many incumbent members as possible, and elect a third-party candidate for president.
The purpose of voting is to vote for the candidate that best reflects your views. If you're unhappy with your government, it is your duty to change it.
Please watch the third-party presidential debate this Sunday at 8 p.m. on C-Span.
"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." - John Quincy Adams
