Sen. Barack Obama (apparently still tiptoeing through the tulips) has, with the Democratic Party, chosen the Rev. Leah Daughtry, a Pentecostal preacher, to plan the Democratic National Convention. Daughtry is leading the party's new mission to make religious believers view the party and its candidates as receptive to, and often impelled by, the dictates of faith.
In her vocation as Pentecostal pastor, she stands for faith in an elevated form. She is supported by the head of the church: her father, Herbert Daughtry, a prison convert who served time for armed bank robbery and passing bad checks.
While Obama declaims his Christianity and shuns the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, he does not recognize the United States to be the secular state that it is by making comments such as "secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave their religion at the door before entering into the public square."
This is a dangerous person to be around, let alone someone who could divert the wealth of the United States.
