President Bush has been the whipping boy for the Democrats and their willing lapdogs, the left-wing liberal press, ever since he was elected (he was elected, but many times we hear the opposite). They always harp on the negative, and never a positive word.
The latest is the firing of eight U.S. Attorneys, which is his right. Instead, he should have followed in the tradition of his predecessors, Bill and Hillary Clinton. He should have taken 1,500 FBI files of potential enemies so they could be coerced or blackmailed, if necessary, to go along with anything the administration wanted to do. Then he should have fired all the employees of the Travel Office who were holdovers from several previous administrations - and if that was criticized, he could fake charges of mismanagement against them and ruin their reputations.
Next, he should have fired 92 of 93 U.S. Attorneys and replaced them with others who would rule as he wanted on controversial cases. Then there would be no balance in the courts.
No administration has ever taken office under such an unethical cloud as the Clintons'. They pulled all the right strings to get what they wanted from day one, with no opposition from the liberal, left-wing media. President Bush has always had a hostile media.
Anyone who even thinks of putting the Clintons back in the White House should do some research into the corruption of the eight years they reigned. From stealing FBI files to pardoning criminals for payoffs, the eight years in-between was something no one should wish for again.
