ROSWELL, Ga. — Labor Day came early for a Roswell woman who gave birth inside a Wal-Mart near Atlanta.

Authorities say the baby made its arrival shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday in the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Mansell Road in Roswell.

Ken Simpson, regional director for the Rural/Metro ambulance company, says the woman delivered her baby inside the store before paramedics could arrive.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the new mother and her baby were taken to Northside Hospital for evaluation.

Wal-Mart officials did not immediately return the Atlanta newspaper’s call for comment.

The woman’s name wasn’t released, and it wasn’t immediately known whether she was a customer or an employee.

Wal-Mart Supercenter No. 1578 is about 20 miles north of downtown Atlanta.

I hope it's a boy also. If

I hope it's a boy also. If it's a girl she's destined to be at least 75 pounds overweight and wear short shirts and halter tops.

Normally, I would have thought it was a hoax. You can't make this stuff up.

I hope it's a Girl. They can name her (made in) China.

'Buy American Made'. We haven't heard if she was born to an American citizen, a legal alien, or an illegal alien.
