ATLANTA — Three people died in a house fire overnight in southwest Atlanta.

A neighbor tells WGCL-TV that a lightning bolt woke her and may have caused the fire. The fire broke out just after 2 a.m. at the brick, split-level ranch home on Revere Road.

The area west of I-285 is about 11 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta.

Crews remain at the scene on Tuesday morning. Names of the individuals have not been released.

Another sad story.

Another sad story to read and feel for these victims and their family. Another day God has allowed us on this Earth. We truly don't know when our day will be and so many people don't know what it means to be ready. I won't preach...just know that I personally am blessed.
