Firefighters are fighting fires along the railroad track near River Watch Parkway.

Officials said two fires located near the railroad tracks along Riverwatch Parkway are not a threat to nearby communities.

Firefighters were called to the area near the tracks at River Watch Parkway and Furys Ferry Road about 3:20 p.m. Monday and discovered two fires on the tracks. Details are expected to be available later as crews work to extinguish the flames.

Officials said the fires do not pose a threat to nearby communities.
