Bush will perform at Augusta Common on Sept. 12. The Border Bash celebrates the football rivalry between the University of Georgia and the University of South Carolina and raises money for Augusta area children’s charities and clubs.

Tickets for Border Bash go on sale Friday at www.borderbash.net. They will be sold in coming weeks at Communigraphics and Circle K stores. Tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the gate, and are free for ages 12 and under.

A singer, songwriter, producer and instrumentalist, Bush is working on his first solo album. The first single is expected to be released at the end of the month.

The Joe Stevenson Band also will perform before Bush takes the stage.
