Augusta Salvation Army on standby for Hurricane Arthur

As Hurricane Arthur threatens the costal Carolinas, the Augusta Salvation Army has been put on standby.

If needed, the Augusta branch will dispatch aid to organizations in North Carolina and South Carolina.

According to a statement from the organization, it is preparing its mobile canteen for deployment and the local emergency disaster service team is ready to respond.
