The U.S. Department of Education renewed Paine College’s TRIO Upward Bound Program for fiscal year 2014-2015, awarding over $400,000 in funding to allow the program to continue outreach to disadvantaged students at Richmond County Schools.

The Upward Bound program, designed to increase graduation rates at secondary education schools, will be renewed for up to five more years, depending on its performance.
