Salvation Army reschedules auction date

The Augusta area Salvation Army has postponed its summer automobile auction from June 7 to July 19.

Bidders are invited to visit the auction yard during the three preview days to view an assorted inventory of cars and boats. The preview days are set for July 16-18 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Salvation Army center at 1384 Greene St.

The auction will consist of more than 30 cars, trucks and boats.

There is a $5 fee to register for the auction. To view the inventory and register online, visit www.SalvationArmyCars.com .

Proceeds from the auction directly support social services for those in need in the Augusta area.
