WHERE: A strip of right-of-way containing buried gas pipelines between Roberson and Moore roads in south Augusta.

WHAT: Broken branches from February’s ice storm lie slumped over in the right-of-way, causing damage to a resident’s chain-link fence.

WHO’S RESPONSIBLE: A spokeswoman for Atlanta Gas Light, which services homes in the area, said the strip of land is owned by Houston-based energy company Kinder Morgan.

ACTION PROMISED: Richard Wheatley, the director of corporate communication and public affairs for Kinder Morgan, said he has contacted the company’s regional office in Alabama to look further into the matter. As of Friday, officials have not issued a plan of action.

My neighbor has failed to repair the fence and have debris moved from my property. He had someone from the company that takes care of his lawn( I do my own) to come to my door in February sayin he would take care of it. Well it's late May and he has continued to avoid taking care of his responsibility.
