STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga.  — Nearly a dozen people were hospitalized after a deck collapsed during a party in suburban Atlanta.

Authorities say the collapse happened Saturday night at a house in Stone Mountain. Witnesses have said a grill that was on the deck when it collapsed slid and also burned several people.

DeKalb County fire Capt. Eric Jackson tells WGCL-TV subpar construction could have led to the collapse. Authorities say 13 people had minor to moderate injuries, but three refused treatment.

Great attention grabing headline

But it happen in the little town of Stone Mountain, NOT on
a Stone Mountain Observation Deck at the top of the rock.

nocnoc you are right

When I first read the title of article I thought the same thing. Not many would have stopped to read article if had read 13 Injured at Party in Stone Mountain, GA. Before reading article I wondered what kind of party would they be having at the Stone Mountain Obervation Deck.
