Aiken seeks attempted murder suspect

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help in locating Christopher Lamont Thomas.

According to a Saturday news release, Thomas is wanted for attempted murder, possession of a firearm during a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Thomas’ charges stem from a March 8 shooting on Dudley Drive in Warrenville.

Anyone who has any information on Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers of the Midlands at (888) 274-6372.

Callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
