Augusta shooting suspects sought

Authorities were searching this morning for a white or silver SUV after a shooting late Thursday in Richmond County.

At 11:28 p.m., deputies responded to the 2200 block of Albemarle Drive in reference to a shooting that left one person injured, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, whose name and age was not immediately available, was shot in the leg, according to the sheriff’s office.

The SUV was last seen near Gordon Highway and two suspects inside the vehicle are considered armed and dangerous.
