DALTON, Ga. — A man who found a northwest Georgia convenience store clerk dead on the floor of his store and called 911 says the worker’s mouth and eyes had been duct-taped shut.

Mark Rogers said in an interview with The Daily Citizen of Dalton that change was scattered behind the cash register, leading him to tell the 911 operator that he thought there had been a robbery.

A suspect, 21-year-old Skyy Raven Marie Mims of Detroit, is being held on a murder charge in the Sunday slaying of 37-year-old store clerk Dahyabhai Chaudhari.

Whitfield County sheriff’s officials have released few details about how the store clerk was killed.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the killing was captured on a store surveillance camera.

Let the punishment fit the crime

If Skyy Raven Marie Mims is tried and convicted of this murder, let her (?) be executed in the same manner that the poor store clerk died.

Couple of Items...

That would be "duct-taped SHUT". Unless there is A LOT more to this story, she should be executed. She does not deserve to consume our oxygen. Let's see if the D.A. will do their job.

This is why you always fight

This is why you always fight the moment you see any chance to.

Cops will tell you, "Give them what they want and they will leave".

This is also why every GA resident should be armed. Better to go down fighting evil then being a victim who died on his knees.

Of course she should be executed......and her body shipped back to Detroit in a coffin that says "Georgia's On Your Mind".

Easy targets should get more protection

If convenience store and gas station owners don't carry or won't allow employees to open carry guns, then all employees of these easy targets should be allowed to work inside a bulletproof cubicle.

Being the victim of such a putrid, evil animal should never happen. Gun in hand when anyone is in the store and protection behind a bulletproof, impregnable (by normal means) shield is the way of the future as long as places like Detroit and Richmond County are oozing its slime out on the public.

In high crime areas, it is

In high crime areas, it is not unusual to see cubicles, or some other limited access to the clerk.

What I prefer is to see stores with an elevated cubicle that has one way glass. Randomly have leo's stationed in them and apply a few bullets to the heads of robbers. Betcha convenience store robberies would plummet.

I like the one-way glass idea a lot.

The random attendance by an LEO probably wouldn't be much of a deterrent, though, unless there was a coincidental robbery that resulted in someone assuming ambient temperature -- someone such as the potentially-damned person who carried out the crime reported above.

It sends me into an internal conflict between rejoicing that someone so evil is put out of commission permanently and the sadness of the One I love most over the loss of a child that once had potential for eternal good but has lost forever all opportunities for repentance and salvation at the moment of committing an act of great evil.

It does give me pause.

Her FB post.

"There's this Girl Named "Skyy Raven Marie Mims." Unlike those around her who feel tied down to what "Society" provides them, she finds a way to escape to her own Utopia using Tempos and Harmonies.

A life full of pain, misfortune and hate, keeping her head high on life's journey that God has Paved. Yes I'm Saved, and I say Saved because I refuse to worship money and become another slave. I rather make a difference and bring LOVE back out from the Shade.

I ask myself what's wrong with the world, soon you'll know more about this girl. My Story in only right for Remembrance, and NO I'm not "Different" I am THE DIFFERENCE. Stay Tuned."
