DALTON, Ga. — Authorities say a woman suspected in the death of a northwest Georgia convenience store clerk has been taken into custody and charged with murder.

U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Gavin Duffy says the 21-year-old woman was arrested at a Bartow County residence Tuesday.

Whitfield County sheriff’s Capt. Rick Swiney said the suspect, Skyy Raven Marie Mims, tried to flee when officers converged on the residence but was quickly apprehended.

Jail records show that Mims, whose last known address is Detroit, was being held in the Whitfield County Jail on a murder charge. The jail records do not indicate whether she has an attorney.

Whitfield County sheriff’s deputies responded to a service station on Airport Road in Dalton Sunday night and found 37-year-old Dahyabhai Chaudhari dead on the floor.

I guess the AC doesn't...

have access to the same photos as the Atlanta papers or they would have put the woman's picture in the article. I know it will be a shock to everyone but the suspect is a black female.
