Winning Mega Million ticket sold in Georgia

One of  two winning  Mega  Millions tickets was sold in Georgia, lottery officials said this morning.

According to information posted on the Georgia Lottery Web site, the winning Georgia ticket was bought at a Gateway Newstands convenience store on Lenox Road in Atlanta.

The $636 million jackpot was the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

The winning California ticket was sold in San Jose, Calif.

The winning numbers were: 8, 14, 17, 20, 39;   Mega   Ball: 7. The jackpot resets to $15 million for the next drawing, which is on Friday night.
