SAVANNAH, Ga. — Police in Savannah are searching for suspects after a violent weekend that resulted in two people slain and left three other people hospitalized.
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police say the violence began around 1:08 a.m. Saturday, when 16-year-old Rahssan Baker, was found in the street with a gunshot wound. He was taken from the scene on West 42nd Street to Memorial University Medical Center, where he was in critical condition.
Around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, 57-year-old Moses Mack was found dead in his bed with head trauma in his East Anderson Street home.
Then, around 11:29 p.m. Saturday, 36-year-old Hector Brown was killed and two other men injured in a triple shooting on East 39th Street. The men had left a party in the area. The survivors of the shooting told police that a man in a pickup truck pulled up beside their vehicle and began firing at them. The two wounded men were treated for their injuries at a local hospital.
