MIAMI — Shellie Zimmerman says her husband has changed since a jury acquitted him in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

She told Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today Show on Thursday she doesn’t know what he’s capable of and she’s conflicted over her husband’s assertion he acted in self-defense the night Martin was killed. But she says she believes the evidence and respects the jury’s verdict.

Shellie Zimmerman says she doesn’t believe her husband profiled Martin, who was black.

Since the trial, she says her husband treated her like she’s “disposable” and went on a “victory tour” without her.

Earlier this month, the two were involved in an altercation at her central Florida home. Since then, she’s been unable to serve him with divorce papers because she doesn’t know where he is.

Looks like GZ has fallen off

Looks like GZ has fallen off that pedestal many placed him on.
I don't fault his supporters for supporting him, but thought it revealed terrible character to do so by trashing a dead kid.

I noticed his lead criminal attorney wasted no time distancing himself from GZ. The behavior we have seen since the trial looks a lot like the Zimmerman who disregarded the 911 operator. It's called a hot head.

I fear one day we will hear these words: OJ, meet your new cellmate.

No excuses,

but the guy has a ton of pressure and stress dumped on him.
Everything from NBPP death threats, to legal bills, to the Fed's breathing down his neck to use him as a distraction for the next something that pops up?

If this is true, he needs to seek some help.

Ask yourself...

Why is the media STILL pushing this "issue" into the minds of the masses?

Some have evidence that TM never existed....

Prosecute the Prosecutor

The special prosecutor that was brought in after local police did not charge Zimmerman destroyed what is left of Zimmerman's life. That prosecutor's name is Angela Corey. She knew that a murder charge was false, but she charged him anyway in a gesture to the "we be victims" mob.

She should be prosecuted for malicious prosecution and for violating her oath as officer of the court.

She is just fund raising.

She is just fund raising. Democrat media pay big bucks for anti-Zimmerman stories. And Truth Matters.......911 operators have NO AUTHORITY and do not know what is going on at the scene.

Just remember all of the 911 operators who told the folks in the World Trade Center to "stay in your office and put wet towels under the doors, the fire department is on their way up to get you".

Anybody that has gone through what George has will have to be changed. He was almost murdered by a thug, had the weight of the entire government on his neck and the worlds media watching his every move. Hope his law suit against NBC goes well for him.

"No excuses.."

With all due respect, those are indeed excuses.
He was under pressure on the night of the killing and we got a chance to see how he responded. Perhaps the biggest pressure for GZ was not being able to live up to what his supporters WANTED him to be.

I sincerely wish him and his wife, or estranged wife, well. I still believe in the redemption of man. I can't speak for others on this page, but my life has not been without missteps. Let's hope he learns something from this.

"He was under pressure on the night of the killing and we got a chance to see how he responded"

Yes we did. It's amazing that after getting his nose broke and assaulted to the point he feared for his life, that he didn't pull the gun out sooner and shoot the assailant. He waited until he was flat on his back, straddled by his assailant, took abuse to the point he thought he was going to die before shooting. I think that shows his character as being a passive person. If he had been an aggressive person, he would have shot Trayvon right after he got popped in the nose.

I think it is post-traumatic

I think it is post-traumatic syndrome. He has been demonized and death threats-he has just lost it under the stress. The guy would have never been tried in court (that's why they didn't charge him initially because he broke no law) if it wasn't a black-white thing. I can only imagine the paranoia that he lives with, and not without reason too. Likely the same kind of paranoia that got Martin killed. He had escaped Zimmerman's pursuit, then returns to confront Zimmerman which was a fatal mistake. Why would anyone run from a mysterious person pursuing you (who may have a gun and want to rob you) and then turn to confront and assault them.
