Minor League Baseball’s Opening Day will have to wait another day in Augusta.

Steady rain showers washed out Thursday night's scheduled opener between the GreenJackets and Lexington Legends at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Friday’s game will be the season opener at 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 6.

Martin Agosta will start Friday's game for the GreenJackets, and Bryan Brickhouse will be on the mound for the Legends.

The first 1,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule and be treated to the first post-game fireworks show of the year.

A doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday, with the first game set for 5:05 p.m. The second game will begin 30 minutes following the first. Gates will open at 4.

Tickets can be exchanged for those of equal or lesser value for any remaining home game. Exchanging for Friday games includes a $1 fee per ticket, and there is a $4 fee for Monday games because of the Feed Your Face Promotion.

Tickets can also be upgraded for an additional fee. Exchanges must be made in person at the team box office or front office.
