Flood watch across Georgia

Forecasters are warning of the potential for flash flooding in Georgia as heavy rain continued to fall in many parts of the state.

 

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for parts of north and central Georgia. It was scheduled to run until 1 p.m. Monday.

 

The flash flood watch includes several Georgia cities, including Atlanta, Athens, Columbus, LaGrange and Macon.
