Aiken Electric reports online problems

AIKEN -- Aiken Electric Cooperative reports its online account management system is temporarily out of service.

According to a news release issued today, use of the online account management, mobile applications and remote paystations is suspended until the technical issue with national web hosting organization is resolved.

Aiken Electric Cooperative members are encouraged to go to one of their offices to make payments if they normally use the Internet or a pay station.

Aiken Electric, a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, is a customer-owned, nonprofit electric utility currently serving about 45,000 member-owners in a nine county area in South Carolina.
