Thunderstorm warning issued

A strong thunderstorm warning has been issued through 8:15 p.m. by the National Weather Service.

Richmond, McDuffie, Lincold, Burke, Columbia, Edgefield, McCormick, Aiken and Barnwell counties could see gusty winds of up to 40 mph, frequent lightening and heavy rainfall, according to Pam Tucker, director of Columbia County Emergency & Operations Division
