ASU officers training

Augusta State University public safety officers are conducting training this morning in preparation for the start of fall semester.

Officers were seen this morning with guns drawn near a Walton Way intersection, but officials at the university’s public safety office assured that it was part of the training.

Riot Training

It's a good thing they are having that training. They're likely to experience student riots when the Board of Regents announces the new name of the school — Georgia Regents University

They could have trained at First Friday

Multi-agency training and all that stuff. Sharing of techniques. Learning from the pros. Comparing "cruisers", lighting packages, etc.
