Safe boating course to be held Saturday in Augusta

A safe boating course sponsored by the Savannah River Sail & Power Squadron will be offered Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Boathouse, 101 Riverfront Drive, Augusta.

The cost is $40 per person and includes course materials and refreshments.

Topics include nautical terms, navigation, safety, lights and sound signals, state and federal regulations.
